Sorting of images

Is it possible to control the sort parameter settings for search views v3.0.17?

I can control category views sort and image view sort in admin. That works fine.

I get different sorting of images in search compared to my setting in imagesviews of an album.

Ideally I would like to have same sort in search views as in setteing for images in album.

after line 423 of the file includes/core/SQL.class.php :

Thank you David, this works fine for all normal seaches from the search box.

Only, when I click the 'new picture' label after having published new pictueres, they so not follow the same search criteria. I guess this is a search as well.
